Nate concentrates his practice on estate and transfer tax planning for wealthy individuals and families. Nate has extensive experience in complex estate, income, inheritance, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. Nate applies his experience by developing and structuring tax-efficient estate plans that are carefully tailored to achieve personal and family goals. He regularly implements sophisticated estate planning techniques to maximize tax savings including, for example, insurance trusts, grantor trusts and dynasty trusts.

Nate represents many closely-held business owners and frequently works as part of a team of advisors in business succession planning.

Nate also represents individuals and corporate Executors and Trustees with respect to the administration of estates and trusts. He has substantial experience in counseling beneficiaries, fiduciaries and family offices on sophisticated fiduciary and transfer tax issues.

Nate lives in a suburb of Pittsburgh with his family. Nate has spoken on various estate planning topics. Nate also volunteers with the Wills for Heroes program serving as an estate planning expert for fire fighters, police officers and other first responders. In his free time, Nate enjoys traveling, fitness and following Pitt athletics.
