Ron focuses his practice on estate planning and estate and trust administration, advising individuals and families on the preservation, management, and transfer of wealth during life and at death. He has extensive experience with federal estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and income tax matters, as well as planning involving complex assets, including closely held business interests, qualified and nonqualified stock options, retirement accounts, and other investment and business holdings. Ron uses this tax experience to develop efficient wealth-transfer strategies while recognizing that tax savings are not always a client's only objective. He works closely with clients to understand their priorities, family dynamics, and long-term goals and to develop a plan tailored to the people and circumstances behind it.
Ron's estate and trust administration experience informs his approach to planning. Having guided familied through the legal, tax, and practical realities that follow a death, he helps clients consider not only how a plan works on paper, but how it will ultimately affect the family members, fiduciaries, and beneficiaries who must carry it out. His goal is to give clients the perspective necessary to make informed decisions and create plans that are tax efficient, practical to administer, and faithful to their wishes. Ron brings the same approach to estate and trust administration, helping families navigate difficult circumstances with clarity, responsiveness, and as much guidance as they desire.
